The Resilience Project.

Discover emotionally engaging programs and evidence-based strategies to cultivate resilience and happiness. Explore the pillars of Gratitude, Empathy, and Mindfulness (GEM) through various mediums, including presentations, school curriculums, events, the TRP App, books, and journals. Inspired by his volunteer work in northern India, founder Hugh Van Cuylenburg witnessed profound happiness amidst adversity – a community lacking basic amenities yet brimming with joy.

Drawing from this transformative experience and further informed by postgraduate studies, Hugh identified gratitude, empathy, and mindfulness as essential practices for cultivating happiness. The Resilience Project's mission is to impart these positive mental health strategies, guiding individuals towards greater happiness and well-being.

  • Enhanced Resilience: Embracing positive emotions bolsters resilience.

Gratitude: Rewire your brain to seek out the positives, fostering higher levels of happiness, energy, optimism, focus, and determination.

Empathy: Acts of kindness trigger the release of oxytocin, boosting self-esteem, confidence, positivity, and happiness.

Mindfulness: Reduce anxiety and depression while enhancing concentration and promoting better sleep

  • Wellbeing Journals + TRP App: These reflective journals capture the essence of your day, ideally filled in at night. Transform this into a delightful nightly ritual by keeping the journal accessible and indulging in a warm beverage of your choice while reflecting.

Books: Dive into the content with a highlighter in hand, emphasizing key insights and practical suggestions from the book. Keep a notebook nearby to record these highlighted notes for easy reference and application.
